John briefly pursued a career in music before embarking on a legal career. After being accepted to Law School, he was given a deferment to tour the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic with a rock band seeking a record contract. Although dreams of rock stardom never materialized, John still writes and records music in a small studio in his home. He can also occasionally be found in the kitchen, making a batch of salsa for family and friends.
