Publications Attorney Amy Nichols

B.A, University of Virginia, 2011; J.D., American University Washington College of Law, 2014. Member, Virginia Bar.

Amy works in NLRG’s Publications Division and focuses on legal treatises. 
Prior to joining NLRG, Amy worked as a consultant and then contract manager for various Government IT service and consulting firms while completing her law degree. Amy worked on both the program and administrative side of projects for federal government clients, including the Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs. As contract manager, Amy supported all contractual obligations for the firms, from contract negotiation and issuance to reporting and compliance as well as representation at industry events.  Amy has also provided litigation support to small law firms, including ediscovery, drafting pretrial motions, and preparing for voir dire. 

Amy lives in McLean, Virginia with her husband and four sons. Someday she will develop a hobby, but for now she enjoys the ever-changing challenges and fun of being a boy mom.
