    Careers At NLRG: Research Attorneys

NLRG is always looking for excellent candidates for research attorney positions.

If you would like to apply for a research attorney position, please send a cover letter, resume with references, and two or three writing samples to research@nlrg.com.

The National Legal Research Group, Inc. (www.nlrg.com) is the oldest and largest legal research firm in the nation. With headquarters in Charlottesville and a regional office in Texas, the attorneys of the National Legal Research Group have been assisting other attorneys throughout the country, as well as major legal publishers, with legal research, writing, and analysis since 1969.

The National Legal Research Group’s reputation is built on providing superior, specialized legal research, writing, and analysis to our attorney-clients. The attorneys of the National Legal Research Group are selected based on strong academic performance and demonstrated excellence and interest in legal research and writing. Law review, law journal, judicial clerkship, litigation-related practice, or similar experience is very helpful but not required. We offer our attorneys the opportunity to develop both advanced research and writing skills and a deep substantive knowledge in a specialized area of law. Our full-time attorneys enjoy a collegial, professional atmosphere in which experience, talent, and diversity are valued.

Benefits for full-time attorneys include healthcare insurance, 401k, and long-term disability.

Staff attorneys enjoy a good work-life balance. Full-time employment is preferred, but part-time is considered. A remote work-at-home arrangement is possible.
